Commercial Services
For commercial clients, we offer a range of services including new blacktop construction, parking lot resurfacing, and more. Our process for constructing a new asphalt surface begins with excavating the site to the proper grade and ensuring that the sub-grade is stable. We then install a stone base, grade and compact the base, and verify that the site's elevations are sufficient for proper drainage. Finally, we install and compact layers of hot asphalt mix, carefully rolling it to create a smooth, even finish. Our services also include line striping, traffic markings, and signage, all in compliance with local codes and the American Disability Act standards.
Residential Services
For residential clients, we offer new blacktop driveways, including excavation to the proper grade, installation of a stone base, grading and compacting the base, and the installation of hot asphalt mix. We ensure that the driveway elevations are sufficient for proper drainage and complete the project with line striping, traffic markings, and signage, if applicable, all in compliance with local codes and the American Disability Act standards.
FAQs
We understand that you may have questions about our services. Here are a few answers to common inquiries:
- What is the difference between seal coating and resurfacing? Seal coating is a protective layer applied to the surface of the asphalt to extend its life, whereas resurfacing involves repairing any structural flaws and applying a new layer of asphalt.
- Can I get asphalt in any color other than black? Essentially, all asphalt is black due to the nature of the aggregates used in its mixture.
- When will I be able to drive on my newly paved driveway? You can drive on the surface after two or three days if you are careful, avoiding tire scuff marks.
