Aloha Landscaping

We launched Aloha Landscaping in 1998 after our founder spent 15 years working at Lockheed Martin and earned a Master of Science degree in Industrial Psychology from San Jose State University. Our early work focused on unique, high-difficulty projects with minimal competition, which allowed us to build specialized industry expertise and valuable professional connections. In 2005, we traveled to Switzerland to study green roof systems, a decision that fundamentally shaped our core service offerings. That same year, we built the first major green roof in Minnesota, and developed a proprietary organic green roof soil with a carbon footprint 1,300% lower than conventional industry-standard soil products. Our green roof design was specified for the Vancouver Convention Center, which is home to the second largest green roof in the world. We have installed more than 210,000 square feet of green roof systems across the United States and Guam to date.

In 2009, our founder received the national Landscaper of the Year award, and we completed the first green roof project on the island of Guam. In 2014, we expanded our service expertise to become certified installers of TileTechs hurricane-proof roof paver system after working on a green roof project for Guam Medical City Hospital. To date, we have installed over 62,000 square feet of TileTech roof pavers for commercial and residential clients across the United States.
