We founded Wiest Asphalt Products & Paving in 1969 when Joseph C. Wiest left Armco Steel to pursue his dream of a paving company. Starting as a home-based business, we built our reputation on hard work and delivering good quality work at a fair price. In May 1988 we expanded with our sons Scott, Bob, and Joe to establish an asphalt plant and relocated to our current facility at 310 Mitchell Hill Road. This growth created Wiest Asphalt Products and Paving, Inc., a Penndot Certified Plant that we continue to operate today. Our plant produces 100% virgin asphalt mixes, including BCBC, ID2 Binder, ID2 Top, and ID2 Modified Top, without any recyclables or RAP. We also supply a full range of limestone products such as 2A, 2B, 1B, limestone sand, and cold patch for various construction needs. Our certified plant offers Penndot-approved mixes in 25mm, 19mm, and 9.5mm sizes, ensuring compliance with state specifications.
